Inaash Association for the Development of Palestinian Camps, Beirut, Lebanon

Since its inception in 1969, the Association has worked on several projects, including, Embroidery Program which provides a main source of income for over 450 women in Refugee Camps, which helps in preserving Palestinian heritage, the Kindergarten and Youth Centers, which provides pre-school education & after-school programs for approximately 500 children & youth to provide a healthy and productive outlet from life in the Camps., The Revolving Fund which supports skilled artisan with small loans to start a business on a “payback” basis, Old Age Project to support financially needy elderly people by providing subsistence help & medical assistance, Subsidy Program, which provides assistance to cover the cost of needy children’s education at INAASH Kindergarten. The funding for all of these programs comes from Embroidery Sales, as well as from some charitable donations.
