Rantis Woman's Charitable Society, Rantis

The Rantis Women's Charitable Society, is a Palestinian NGO founded in 1996 with a mission to empower the women of Rantis, grow their skills and improve their living conditions. The society's income is based on the symbolic membership fees of the active members (5 NIS a month) and the revenues from the society's income generating projects and activities. The society works to improve the village's infrastructure, particularly by paving the roads, supporting the poor families, organizing exhibitions where the women can sell their work, implementing "Project Schoolbag", providing children with the supplies needed for school, and raising public awareness and training women in the village to make traditional crafts.
